The molecule, also known as 4-Hy\u00addroxy-N,N-di-n-propyl\u00adtryptamine or &#8220;deprocin&#8221; is a structural analogue of <a href=\"https:\/\/psychedelicreview.com\/compound\/psilocin\/\">psilocin<\/a>, the active metabolite of <a href=\"https:\/\/psychedelicreview.com\/compound\/psilocybin\/\">psilocybin<\/a>.  The research was conducted by Dr. Andrew Chadeayne, Duyen Pham, Dr. James Golen and Dr. David Manke in conjunction with UMass Dartmouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This original CaaMTech research was published in <em>IUCrData<\/em>, a peer-reviewed open-access data publication from the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr).
